Additional Information
At least 24 hours notice must be given to cancel or make changes to a tee time by calling 830.796.8466.
If the change or cancellation is not made within this timeframe, the credit card holder is responsible for all applicable charges and will be automatically billed a “No Show Fee” for all players booked under the reservation.
Twilight and Replay Rates not available at this time.
Golf Course Policies
RESERVATIONS:

Tee times are accepted 14 days in advance and are accepted for groups of 2-4 players. A no-show fee is charged if not canceled 24 hours in advance.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS:
Play will be administered on the course in traditional groups of four. Groups differing from four require approval from the golf shop. The starter will pair up groups of less than four players to make as many foursomes as possible. If a group is not present 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time, their reservation time may change at the discretion of the Starter.
REGISTRATION:
All players must register in the Pro Shop prior to play. Each player must have his or her own set of clubs and bag.
DRESS CODE:
The policy is designed to maintain an atmosphere consistent with the tradition that proper golf attire must be worn at all times. Appropriate dress includes golf shoes (soft spikes) or flat sole tennis shoes, collared shirts, crewneck golf shirts, and slacks or Bermuda shorts. Tee shirts, cutoffs, gym shorts, swimwear and tank tops are not allowed.
PACE OF PLAY:
It should be the goal of the players to complete their round in four hours, thirty minutes. This amount of time will be more than adequate, provided all players remain aware of the need to play without delay. It is each group’s responsibility to be observant of its position on the course and keep pace. Please play ready for the enjoyment of all golfers. Course Marshal and Golf Staff have full authority to maintain the rules and speed of play for everyone’s enjoyment.
GOLF CART USAGE:
Each operator of a golf cart must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old. The 90-degree rule will be enforced. Cart path only around all tees. Cart path only at 50 yards out from every green. Cart path only on par 3’s. The starter will give special daily cart restrictions. Please observe cart directional messages via onboard GPS. Only 2 bags and 2 riders per cart.
GROUPS & TOURNAMENT RESERVATIONS:
Tournament/Golf Outing reservations for groups of 16 players or more can be made in advance and require a signed contract and non-refundable deposit. Food and accommodations can also be arranged. For more information, please email [email protected] or call the Pro Shop at 830.796.8466.
RAIN-CHECK POLICY:
Flying L Golf Course will prorate rainchecks based on number of holes completed. Rainchecks will be issued for applicable golf fees and rental club fees. Rainchecks will be issued for inclement weather causing course closure. (Severe rain, lightning, etc.) Rainchecks will not be issued due to darkness or excessive temperatures. Rainchecks will expire 60 days from issuance. Rainchecks are issued as a cash value to be redeemed for applicable golf fees only. There are no refunds or credits.
FOOD & BEVERAGE:
The entire Resort including Golf Course and other amenities are TABC licensed areas, excluding lodging. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from Flying L Ranch Resort. Outside food, drink, or personal coolers are not allowed. The Wild West Bar & Grill is located next to the Pro Shop and sells food, drinks, snacks, beer, wine, and more.
